We operate in general accordance with, and particular reference to; Coalition Government,
department for; Business Innovation and Skills BIS. Within and beyond; the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards
for England SASE. Which involved consultancies from relevant trade professional bodies, as to the aspirational; National
Occupations Standards NOS. Which details consultative proposals to build on inherent standards and practices.
All of which is underpinned by our; Science Engineering Manufacturing Technology Association SEMTA Sector Skills
Council. With aims more precise to the position we acknowledge as paramount, in particular regards to engineering
apprentices quality time scales for training.
Training
program Overview:
Where we have utilised methods drawn in the main from prior experienced, practical approaches, adopted
wholly by previous historical commitments of larger national corporate group companies practices.
Which involve certain assertive, although relaxed structured approaches, which are as follows:
With particular emphasis on advanced levels for training; tradesmen, designers, and , together
with Higher level; administrators, and business studies, requirements for Proforma Structures. We will
detail and refer to all departmental requirements for trade and or professional types of functions for
our independent needs, which are; welder, plater, and pipefitter; trades. With: technical drawing/computer aided design IT,
online/paper filing, designers and administrator, and business studies professions capabilities.
Training will commence with one full year off the job placements at our inhouse
training centre. Where each departmental trade, or career applicant will be offered and introduced on a rotational block three
months basis for assigned assessments, in relevant sector training environment. With examined and tested work
samples required from candidates, as ongoing weekly prerequisite.
Which involves additional one week
Further Education FE, block attendance per calender month. Or day release of one day per working week, whichever the merits
grant. For academic theory and other laboritory activities involved.
With continuous departmental
instruction; practical and theoretical tuition and demonstrations, and periodic one to one encouragements. As
final segment involves marked exams, to determine along with practical assessments, best suitable trade and or career designation
for each individual. Thereafter whichever the better, and agreed during interview with senior instructor. Will be identified as
the best trade and or career route to undertake future remainder of first year.
Good regular time keeping, Inhouse, FE examinations and reports, together with satisfactory progression and
completions of assignments, within training centre and determined technical college involvement.
Will prove year one apprentice as accepted, and will be encouraged with offer to continue on three years or
thirty two months, of remaining apprenticeship completion. Where practical final trade, and or career tests would
be statutory, prior to award of Trade Indentures certification.
